Would anyone be interested in a sweep on this years tournament?

I won't go so far as to say "who's going to win and by how many points" but something along the lines of...

The winning team will have "X" points - everyone who wants to enter puts in a quid, winner takes all, nearest the pin (under not over!)

EG: If person A says 29 and person B says 31 but the score is 30 then person A wins as person B had gone over.

Anyone interested?

And I think we should limit it to people attending only!

Sounds interesting... I ran that for a Quasar tournament. We made it guess the finishing position of the teams, but that worked because we had a lot more teams which made a lot more combinations of positions. Something I'll try and run in future years might be a fantasy Armageddon, each player given a value based on their rank, then you buy the players you think will score the most between them within the budget.

For reference if we have 4 teams the maximum number of points you can get are 36, while if we have 5 teams the maximum will be 24 due to the loss of double round robin. I'll work out something with the outdoor though, as we may be playing on two fields at once.
